Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods - Aliso Viejo

I enjoyed my stay at the Ayres Aliso Viejo Hotel. Most everything was great! My room was clean and neat. The bed was comfortable, which is saying a lot since I rarely find them so. The food selection at breakfast and the evening reception (Monday through Thursday only) was delicious and generous. My only suggestion would be to offer breakfast until 10:00 am.

We are from Switzerland and stayed at this hotel for three weeks. The price-performance ratio is excellent, the staff at breakfast were always very friendly, and the cleaning staff were great as well. The rooms are clean, and the happy hour is fantastic! The location is perfect. Only downside: I contacted the hotel twice by email before our stay regarding a baby cot, but unfortunately never received a reply. When we arrived late at night with our baby and asked about it at check-in, the receptionist simply handed me a baby cot — without a mattress, blanket, or anything else. In a hotel, you can reasonably expect the cot to be prepared and set up by the staff.

Nice location, large and comfortable rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast, helpful and kind staff. Very pleasant stay. Maybe the acoustic isolation between rooms and floors can be improved: I was waken up in the middle of the night by some late comer entering their room.

Had a nice stay for 4 nights. The breakfast was ok at best but hey, it was free. The two omelette station workers are great. Great location and only 10 mins away from Laguna Beach. Good price point too.

Excellent room. Comfortable bed. A fridge that worked. Very good price based on time of year. Ease of parking. The best complimentary breakfast ever! And a super happy hour. Negative is the third party booking. Very bad. Cost us an extra 15%. I tried to avoid that but still was fooled when making the reservation. Also, rats were seen outside side bldg door.

Best kept secret in Orange County. Always a good stay. Quiet, great breakfast, the beds are awesome, convenient, centrally located to everything and good customer service. I highly recommend staying here. The prices are reasonable for OC.

This is a great hotel. We appreciated the warm service and comfortable rooms. Unlike many similar hotels, this one has a guest computer and printer--a big plus. Although they have a chef who makes omelets and eggs to order, the fruit is not great, the non-cooked breakfast offerings are not great. The fruit is mediocre, and the choice of breads and oatmeal toppings is limited. Fitness area has adequate equipment, but space is a bit tight. Still, a great deal for the price.

Best hotel ever. The lounge was so warm and welcoming. We sat by that fireplace quite a bit to recover from the day. Arrived to find a free happy hour. The free breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. People were very friendly. We were there for a sad occasion and our stay gave us great comfort.
